What We Do

What COVID-19 is showing in nothing new…. It is simply amplifying a lot of things and issues we already knew. There is growing evidence that the current situation is hitting communities that are socially and economically marginalized, exacerbating, among other issues, the social and economic factors like income, discrimination, access to quality healthcare and education. While the Multicultural Council of Canada (MCC) is involved in myriad of activities to help the ‘Racialized Groups’ in particular and dozens of other social & cultural issues in general, its basic focus remains on three (3) main issues:

Preservation of world cultures

Education

Healthcare

MCC, as an umbrella organization, provides a great platform to any and all organizations around the country serving the needs of the people to be positively engaged in your community and be part of the social, cultural, educational and healthcare efforts. In this ‘Age of Disruption’, there are many challenges & opportunities, but collectively we can continue to do much more than what an individual organization can do.While improving, enhancing and providing nationwide visibility, MCC increases efficiencies by bringing together a large number of organizations, sharing essential functions, information and services, yet providing you with the level of autonomy you choose.
Whether you are a student, a concerned individual or an organized group, an academic institution or a business, we welcome you to become a member and preferably join one or more of our committees to help our communities and help Canada become an ideal ‘Multicultural’ country in the world:
